Bandai Namco has unveiled two new gameplay trailers for Tekken 8, featuring the returning characters Panda and Alisa Bosconovitch. Players can expect both Panda and Alisa to be part of the playable roster in Tekken 8 upon its release. As the game’s launch date approaches and the full roster is gradually unveiled, fans are treated to these gameplay reveal trailers, providing insights into how these classic characters have evolved from their previous iterations.
Panda initially appeared in Tekken 3, initially serving as a palette swap for Kuma, another bear fighter in the series. Since her debut, Panda has been a playable character in every subsequent Tekken game, earning her dedicated character slot from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 onwards. On the other hand, Alisa, an android created in the likeness of Dr. Bosconovitch’s late daughter, made her first appearance in Tekken 6. Both characters have strong ties to Tekken regular Ling Xiaoyu, with Panda acting as her bodyguard and Alisa forming a friendship with her in non-canon material such as Project X Zone and Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
