PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for January 2024 File Sizes Revealed

PlayStation Plus subscribers in the Extra and Premium tiers are set to enjoy a diverse array of games in January 2024, and now, players have a clearer understanding of the storage space these titles will require. Members in the Extra and Premium categories receive substantial advantages compared to the Essential tier, gaining access to a plethora of games without additional costs.

Sony recently unveiled the lineup of games for PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2024, featuring titles such as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition, Resident Evil 2, LEGO City Undercover, and Surviving the Aftermath, among others. Premium users are also granted entry to Legend of Mana, Rally Cross, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, and more. The revealed file sizes for the majority of these games offer valuable information to PlayStation Plus members, aiding them in managing their storage space accordingly.

For PS Plus Extra this month, Resident Evil 2 emerges as one of the prominent titles, demanding 21.876 GB of storage for installation on PS5. The PS4 version maintains a comparable size, with a download requirement of 24.744 GB. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition occupies 35.536 GB and 38.334 GB on PS4 and PS5, respectively, while Hardspace: Shipbreaker demands a modest 3.170 GB of free space. LEGO City Undercover necessitates 11.656 GB of storage, and Just Cause 3 commands 40.837 GB on PlayStation consoles.

The PS5 edition of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong mandates 23.204 GB of storage, and Surviving the Aftermath occupies a modest 4.955 GB of free space. Games featured in PS Plus Premium for January 2024 are relatively light on storage, with Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection requiring 5.372 GB, Legend of Mana needing around 6.6 GB, and Secret of Mana occupying about 4.4 GB.

While PS Plus Extra and Premium members are set to enjoy a plethora of new games in January 2024, it’s important to note that some titles will exit the service this month. Games such as Devil May Cry 5, It Takes Two, SnowRunner, and Omno will no longer be available on PS Plus after their removal, and subscribers won’t have access to these titles once they have been taken off the service.
